Adoption Information

Some of our residents will have a permanent home at the sanctuary, but most are ready and eager to be adopted by a loving home!

There are over two hundred cats and several dozen dogs to choose from, with more babies being born every day to animals that were abandoned without being spayed or neutered. Adoption fees vary according to the type and age of the animal, but all include spay/neuter and first shots including rabies.

In addition to visiting the Last Hope sanctuary, you can also drop by our adoption centers at Petsmart, 1196 West Olive Avenue in Merced and Petco, 1230 Commerce Avenue (by Super Target) in Atwater. Cats are on the premises at the stores every day and dogs make their appearances on the weekends. The animals would love to see you!
